What do you enjoy most about your role at Larking Gowen?

Providing solutions to clients (including colleagues).

What do you view as your cornerstone project in your career?

I was responsible for the tax work for the May Gurney IPO. It was challenging work and a tight timetable but we all enjoyed a great day at Newmarket Races by way of celebration!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Professional sportsman (completely unrealistic, of course)

Who do you admire and look up to and why?

Roger Federer – poise, elegance, grace, power, charm and a ruthless single-minded determination to win.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Oscar Wilde (fine wit and intelligence), Peter Ustinov (storyteller par excellence and raconteur) and Jennifer Saunders (creative and funny).

What advice would you give to anyone considering a career in Tax?

Go for it!
